Nigel Buchanan, YOTEL’s operations director said, “KABA was specified for this project because the ILCO 790 RFID system is simple and efficient to both install and manage.” Buchanan also chose KABA’s ATLAS system to manage the hotel door locks. ATLAS is fully integrated with the hotel’s property management software to provide greater property security and guest door control across the entire hotel.
KABA’s ATLAS system provides a Web-based interface that enables simplified guest door programming. Menu-driven software provides on-screen help so operators can resolve issues quickly. It offers the flexibility for operators to work in the language of their choice. In the YOTEL’s lobby, self-service ‘Shere’ kiosks dispense guest room keycards and invoices for check-in or check-out, with property staff on hand to provide 24/7 assistance.
